Hello^^

Is the "ear" in 3D-Sound always at (0, 0, 0)?
If yes, then, when i want to update the 3D-Sound position relative to the camera, how will this work?
I tried:
Code:
Sound->setPosition (
    dim::vector3df (
        Sound->getPosition().X - Cam->getPosition().X,
        Sound->getPosition().Y - Cam->getPosition().Y,
        Sound->getPosition().Z - Cam->getPosition().Z
    )
);

But the sound-volume never changes.

Thanks.

Edit: I just recognized, that 3D-Sound in general doesnt work for me.
Here is what i do:
Code:
audio::Sound* sound = spListener->createSound();
sound->reload(filename);
sound-> emit3D(dim::vector3df(0, 0, 0), 1);

When i now change y to 1000 it doesnt change.

The 3D sound was only for experimental use in SPE 3.2.

In SPE 3.3 you can use OpenAL (but only with WAV sounds) for 3D sounds.

The "ear" is called "Listener". And you can set its position and orientation:
audio::SoundDevice::setListenerPosition
audio::SoundDevice::setListenerOrientation

But maybe are just your listener settings wrong, e.g. listening range etc.
